The project management consultancy order is for the construction of an integrated township at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Jharkhand, the company said.
Last week, NBCC reported its earnings for the September quarter and its board also approved a second interim dividend for the financial year 2026.
Its net profit increased by 26% to ₹153.5 crore from ₹122 crore in the second quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew by 19% to ₹2910.2 crore in the September quarter compared to ₹2,446 crore in the previous year.
The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased marginally to ₹100.8 crore from ₹100.3 crore last year. Its operating margins contracted to 3.5% from 4% in the year-ago period.
The NBCC board also approved a second interim dividend of ₹0.21 per share for FY26. The record date for the same is November 19.
The stock was up 1% at ₹115.3 apiece around 1.10 pm. It has gained 24.1% this year, so far.
