MOIL has delivered its best-ever production performance in FY26 so far, recording record manganese ore output both in the third quarter and over the first nine months of the financial year.
During Q3 FY26,
the state-owned miner produced 4.77 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, marking a year-on-year increase of about 3.7%. This is the highest production achieved by MOIL in any third quarter since its inception.
For the April–December period, total production stood at a record 14.21 lakh tonnes, up around 6.8% compared with the corresponding period last year. The company attributed the sustained improvement to focused mine planning, tighter operational discipline, higher levels of mechanisation and consistent execution across its operating units.
Shares of MOIL Ltd closed 2.05% lower at ₹367.50 on the NSE ahead of the announcement.
