Revenue from operations grew 42.5% year-on-year to ₹378.4 crore from ₹265 crore, supported by higher sales volumes and improved realisations.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) more than doubled to ₹124 crore from ₹48 crore in Q2 FY25, while operating margins expanded significantly to 32.8% from 18.1% a year earlier, reflecting better operating leverage and cost efficiencies.
The company said it continued to benefit from robust demand for solar glass amid India’s accelerating renewable energy push. Borosil Renewables, which manufactures solar glass for photovoltaic panels, has been scaling up capacity to cater to both domestic and export markets.
The shares of the company are trading 1.4% in the green at 2 pm. The stock has gained close to 24% in the year so far.
