Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: Nifty rises 120 pts; Asian Paints, Shriram Fin up 2% each

Stock Market Live Updates: The markets are making a case for glory, as the Nifty looks to end the week in green. The Nifty index is up nearly 100 points, rising to 23,750. The Sensex index is up over 300 points, rising to 75,500.

The Nifty has been tested both at the lower end and the upper end of the 23,300 - 23,800 range; it finds itself locked in.

Oil prices are down this morning; yields are elevated but have eased slightly as well.

The Nifty Bank looks stronger today, with a near 1% or 500 points jump, rising towards teh 54,000 mark.

Earnings reactions come from ITC, LIC, LG Electronics India, Nykaa, Honasa Consumer, and others.

The last trading day of the week also sees results from Sun Pharma, Hindalco, Torrent Pharma, Colgate-Palmolive, Eicher Motors and others.
