The numbers for Super Saturday have started trickling in with Axis Bank and Central Bank of India among banks, and ArMee Infotech and Le Travenues Tech among the non-banking names having disclosed numbers. Axis Bank's core income growth beat expectations, while Central Bank of India's NII grew 26% from last year. Both the lenders also reported improvement in their respective asset quality on a sequential basis. Axis Bank's slippages also declined quarter-on-quarter. The street now awaits results from two of India's largest private lenders, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, along with the newsmaker Yes Bank. The Yes Bank earnings call has also been rescheduled to 5 PM this evening. India Cements, Rossari Biotech are some of the other important non-banking names reporting numbers today. Clarity is also awaited from Yes Bank on the AT-1 issue and from HDFC Bank on the road ahead under the new CEO.
