Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd., parent company of trading platform Groww reported its quarterly results for the July-September period on Friday, November 21. This is the first quarterly result announcement made by the company after its listing last week. The numbers were lower on the revenue front on a year-on-year basis, but improved from the June quarter across parameters. The company's net profit increased by 24.6% from the June quarter to ₹471.3 crore, while revenue increased by 12.7% from the previous quarter to ₹1,018.7 crore. On a year-on-year basis, revenue from operations is lower. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) grew by 25% from the previous quarter to ₹603.3 crore, while margins expanded by 600 basis points to 59.3% from 53.4% in June. While its NSE active clients have declined on a year-on-year basis, its market share has seen an increase across the same timeframe. Stock is holding on to gains of around 5% after the results.
