With this clearance, Time Technoplast becomes the first company in India to secure approval for manufacturing such high-pressure composite cylinders across multiple gas applications. The PESO authorisation provides blanket approval for the cylinders to be used in transportation and cascade systems for hydrogen and oxygen, hydrogen storage and drone-related applications, medical uses such as self-contained breathing apparatus and medical oxygen, as well as laboratory and metalworking gases including nitrogen, helium, argon and carbon dioxide.

The company already holds approvals for composite oxygen and breathing air cylinders of 6.8-litre capacity, along with hydrogen cylinders in both Type-3 and Type-4 variants. The latest approval further expands its value-added offerings and strengthens its position in advanced composite cylinder technology.
Time Technoplast said the development underlines its focus on innovation, safety and regulatory compliance, while supporting the “Make in India, For the World” initiative. The approval is expected to enhance the company’s ability to address diverse industrial, medical and emerging energy applications using lightweight, high-strength composite cylinders.
Time Technoplast shares closed at ₹188.25 as of 16:00 on January 1, up 0.13% for the day.
