What is the story about?
Time Technoplast Limited has received approval from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation to manufacture and supply high-pressure Type-3 fully wrapped fibre reinforced composite cylinders of 2-litre capacity for compressed gas applications. The approval, also granted by TÜV Rheinland (India), marks a key milestone for the company’s advanced composite solutions portfolio.
With this clearance, Time Technoplast becomes the first company in India to secure approval for manufacturing such high-pressure composite cylinders across multiple gas applications. The PESO authorisation provides blanket approval for the cylinders to be used in transportation and cascade systems for hydrogen and oxygen, hydrogen storage and drone-related applications, medical uses such as self-contained breathing apparatus and medical oxygen, as well as laboratory and metalworking gases including nitrogen, helium, argon and carbon dioxide.

Time Technoplast said the development underlines its focus on innovation, safety and regulatory compliance, while supporting the “Make in India, For the World” initiative. The approval is expected to enhance the company’s ability to address diverse industrial, medical and emerging energy applications using lightweight, high-strength composite cylinders.
