Fino Payments Bank Ltd on Tuesday, January 6, said all its banking services will remain unavailable from the night of January 8 to January 10, 2026, due to the planned migration of its Core Banking System to a new platform.
The company's exchange filing stated that the bank services will remain unavailable for nearly two days as the lender migrates its core banking system to a new platform, Finacle. The planned migration is scheduled from 10 pm on January 8, 2026, to 11.59 pm on January 10, 2026, during
which all banking services will be suspended.
The bank advised its users to plan their transactions in advance to avoid inconvenience during the downtime.
The migration is part of Fino Payments Bank’s ongoing digital transformation programme, under which it is implementing a new core banking system to strengthen its technology infrastructure, stated the exchange filing.
According to the bank, the Finacle platform will act as its digital backbone, enabling improved operational efficiency, enhanced system resilience and greater scalability. The upgrade is also expected to support faster rollout of new products, better service delivery across customer touchpoints, and stronger risk management and regulatory compliance.
Shares of Fino Payments Bank Ltd ended lower on Tuesday, January 6, by 1.74% at ₹251.20 on the NSE.
