Schaeffler India Q3 net profit surges 22% on strong automotive tech & exports

Mobility tech firm Schaeffler India Ltd on Friday (October 31) reported a 22.4% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹289.3 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, compared with ₹236.4 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations rose 15% year-on-year to ₹2,434.6 crore from ₹2,116.3 crore.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 23.5% year-on-year to ₹456.4 crore, against ₹369.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA margin improved to 18.7% from 17.5% in the year-ago period.

The company reported a profit before tax (PBT) before exceptional items of ₹412.9 crore for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q3’25), up 23.9% from the corresponding quarter of 2024. The PBT margin for the quarter stood at 17.5%, compared with 16.1% in the same quarter last year and 17.4% in the preceding quarter.

For the nine months ended September 2025, revenue from operations stood at ₹6,752.3 crore, up 12.7% compared to the same period of 2024. PBT before exceptional items for the nine-month period was ₹1,166.6 crore, 19.2% higher than the corresponding period last year.

The PBT margin for the period was 17.3%, against 16.3% in the same period of 2024. Net profit for the nine months ended September 2025 stood at ₹868.3 crore, with a net profit margin of 12.9%, compared to 12.2% in the corresponding period of 2024.

Harsha Kadam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said, "I am pleased to report, yet again, that we registered double-digit growth for the sixth consecutive quarter. Automotive Technologies and intercompany exports aided our performance for the quarter. Quality of earnings strengthened further, underscoring our dedication to capital and operational efficiency.

Shares of Schaeffler India Ltd ended at ₹4,027.15, up by ₹100.60, or 2.56%, on the BSE.
