Info Edge Q2 Results: Revenue grows 14% from last year, margin narrows

Shares of Info Edge (India) Ltd. are erasing gains on Wednesday, November 12, in response to their September quarter results that were reported during market hours.

Revenue for the quarter increased by 14% from the same quarter last year to ₹746 crore from ₹656 crore last year.

Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter grew by 7.5% to ₹295 crore from ₹274.6 crore.

EBITDA margin contracted by 220 basis points to 39.6% from 41.8% year-on-year, while the company's net profit and one-time gain rose 6% to ₹350 crore from ₹331 crore last year.

Info Edge shares are now trading with gains of 0.87% after the earnings announcement at ₹1,352.70. The stock is down 23% so far this year.
