Home First Finance Q3 Results: Net profit, NII surge 44% amid strong all-round growth

Home First Finance Company India Ltd  reported strong Q3FY26 results, with net profit rising 44% year-on-year to ₹140.2 crore, compared with ₹97.7 crore in the same quarter last year. The performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 underscores steady execution and sustained growth momentum.

Net interest income (NII) increased 44% year-on-year to ₹234.8 crore in the third quarter, up from ₹163.1 crore a year ago. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹484 crore, registering an 18.7% growth on a year-on-year basis.

Profitability indicators improved, with return on assets (RoA) at 4% compared with 3.4% in Q3FY25, while return on equity (RoE) stood at 13.7%, with pre-money adjusted RoE at 17.1%.

Assets under management (AUM) grew 24.9% year-on-year and 5.3% quarter-on-quarter to ₹14,925 crore as of December 2025. Disbursements during the quarter reached ₹1,318 crore, marking a 10.5% year-on-year increase and a 2.2% sequential growth. Housing loans accounted for 83% of AUM, while customers from economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG) made up around 60% of the overall customer base.

Asset quality remained stable during the quarter, with gross stage 3 assets at 2%. Credit cost for Q3FY26 stood at 40 basis points. The company maintained a strong capital position, with a total capital adequacy ratio (CRAR) of 49.0% and tier I capital at 48.6%. Net worth increased to ₹4,180 crore as of December 2025.

In the previous quarter (Q2), Home First Finance reported a 43% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹132 crore, supported by AUM growth of 26.3% year-on-year to ₹14,178 crore and disbursements of ₹1,289 crore.
