The order is for a Balance of System (BOS) package covering three solar power projects at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, one of the world's largest renewable energy developments.
It includes both supply of equipment and onsite services, with a total value of about ₹1,381 crore excluding taxes.
Sterling and Wilson is already executing 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region, of which 5 GW is scheduled for completion within this fiscal year.
With the new 1 GW project added to its portfolio, the company continues to retain a strong leadership position in Gujarat’s solar EPC space.
Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said the partnership with Adani Green marks their biggest domestic EPC contract this fiscal. He added that the agreement deepens collaboration between India's largest renewable energy developer and one of the country's leading solar EPC players, reinforcing the company's execution strength in large-scale, fast-turnaround solar projects.
With this latest win, Sterling and Wilson's total order inflow for the fiscal has crossed ₹6,450 crore, and its pipeline remains strong.
The stock closed 1.32% lower on Friday at ₹225.49 and is down 52% so far in 2025.
