What is the story about?
State-owned NBCC India Ltd on Tuesday (December 16) said it has received work orders in the ordinary course of business with an aggregate value of approximately ₹345.04 crore, excluding GST. The company has been awarded a project management consultancy assignment by the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, valued at about ₹332.99 crore.
The scope of work includes planning, design and development for the construction of academic blocks, 2 BHK and 3 BHK housing, a student activity centre including a sports complex, and other related works at the IIT Mandi campus in Kamand, Himachal Pradesh.
In addition, NBCC has secured a contract worth approximately ₹12.05 crore from Kandla SEZ for day-to-day annual maintenance work.

The contract covers manpower and material for housekeeping, horticulture, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and civil works, along with services related to dish antennas, air conditioners, mosquito management, CCTV cameras and networking systems, hygiene solutions, lifts, solar systems, diesel generators and fire-fighting vehicles. The maintenance work is scheduled for the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
The company said both orders have been awarded by domestic entities and are part of its normal course of business. Shares of NBCC India Limited ended at ₹111.25, down by ₹4.14, or 3.59%, on the BSE.
