Timex Group promoter exercises oversubscription option, OFS size rises to 90.19 lakh shares

Global watchmaker Timex Group India Ltd on Monday (December 29) said its promoter, Timex Group Luxury Watches BV, Netherlands, has exercised the oversubscription option in its offer for sale (OFS) of equity shares through the stock exchange mechanism.

Under the OFS structure intimated earlier, the promoter had proposed to sell up to 45.09 lakh equity shares of Timex Group India Ltd, representing 4.47% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of the company as on September 30, 2025. This constituted the base offer size.

The OFS was scheduled to be conducted on December 29, 2025, for non-retail investors and on December 30, 2025, for retail investors and non-retail investors opting to carry forward their unallotted bids.

The promoter had also retained the option to sell an additional 45.09 lakh equity shares, representing another 4.47% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of the company as on September 30, 2025, under the oversubscription option.

Timex Group Luxury Watches BV has exercised this option in full. Consequently, the total offer size under the OFS stands at up to 90.19 lakh equity shares, representing 8.93% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of Timex Group India Limited as on September 30, 2025.

Timex Group India Ltd designs, manufactures, and markets innovative timepieces and is part of Timex Group, which is a privately-held company headquartered in Middlebury, Connecticut, with multiple operating units and over 2,000 employees worldwide.

Shares of Timex Group India Ltd ended at ₹329.50, down by ₹22.25, or 6.33%, on the BSE today, December 29.
