Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: The markets are feeling some pressure after what has been a remarkable week so far. The index is likely to close the week in the green; however, it, Nifty is trading with caution, moving around 24,300. The Sensex is also in the same territory, slipped from early gains, moving around 77,800.

The July 17 high of 24,367 will be the first hurdle to cross for the bulls for a move back towards the 24,500 mark. On the downside, the bulls have defended 24,000 for two days in a row and would want that intact today as well, even the 24,200 mark.

IT stocks are under immense pressure.

For the Nifty Bank, the index still finds itself stuck in a range with supply emerging at the 57,500 mark.

Results continue unabated as multiple names react to results, while names like Maruti, ITC, Sun Pharma report today. The street will watch for the extreme earnings reactions, particularly in the broader markets.
