Essar Group's IT arm Black Box Ltd on Monday (June 1) said the company and AIONOS, an AI-native enterprise technology company, have announced a strategic alliance to accelerate AI transformation across enterprises, spanning infrastructure build-out to business outcomes.
The alliance combines Black Box’s capabilities in digital infrastructure, including data centres, network connectivity, modern workplace solutions and managed services, with AIONOS’s applied AI platforms and domain-led solutions.
The
collaboration is aimed at enabling organisations to build, deploy and manage AI with security and resilience across layers. The companies said they will jointly develop industry-focused solutions and expand go-to-market opportunities across India, North America, EMEA and APAC.

The partnership will be steered by CP Gurnani and Sanjeev Verma, who will lead global expansion efforts aimed at driving digital impact across enterprises and hyperscalers.
In India, the focus will include the expanding global capability centre (GCC) ecosystem. The alliance said it is positioned to support GCCs in building AI-ready infrastructure, deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions and creating scalable operations integrated with global parent organisations.

He added that Black Box brings the digital infrastructure engine spanning data centres,
enterprise networks, and IoT across 35+ countries, covering “the entire journey from the physical layer to the AI application layer."

Shares of Black Box Ltd ended at ₹1,041.55, up by ₹3.05, or 0.29%, on the BSE today, June 1.
