Adani Green Energy Ltd on Wednesday (July 22) reported a 19.3% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹983 crore for the first quarter, compared with ₹824 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations increased 16.6% to ₹4,431 crore from ₹3,800 crore a year ago. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 31% to ₹3,985 crore from ₹3,042 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin expanded to 90% from 80%.
For FY26, the company reported its highest-ever annual greenfield capacity addition of 5.1 GW and a 23% year-on-year increase in core EBITDA to ₹10,865 crore.

Operational capacity grew 35% year-on-year to 19.3 GW, maintaining its position as India's largest operational renewable energy company. The company said it added 5,051 MW of greenfield capacity during FY26, 1.5 times the 3.3 GW added in FY25.
The new capacity comprised 3,412 MW of solar projects, including 2,974 MW in Khavda, Gujarat, and 438 MW in Rajasthan, along with 683 MW of wind capacity and 956 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity, both in Khavda.
Energy sales increased 34% year-on-year to 37,567 million units during FY26, supported by higher operational capacity and plant performance.
Revenue from power supply rose 22% to ₹11,602 crore, while EBITDA from power supply increased 23% to ₹10,865 crore. The EBITDA margin from the power supply business stood at 91%. Cash profit for the year increased 11% year-on-year to ₹5,399 crore.

The company attributed the growth in revenue and EBITDA to the addition of 5.1 GW of greenfield capacity during FY26, deployment of advanced renewable energy technologies, strong plant performance and commissioning of new projects at resource-rich sites in Khavda, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
Adani Green also said it installed 1,376 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity at Khavda, one of the largest single-location deployments globally, and is targeting more than 10,000 MWh of BESS capacity by FY27.
Separately, the board approved, subject to shareholders' approval, the reappointment of three independent directors for a second term. Romesh Sobti will be reappointed with effect from September 20, 2026, while Neera Saggi and Dr Anup Shah will be reappointed with effect from September 7, 2026.
