Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:

The Nifty index is trying to fight back, as expiry day volatility appears to have taken over the bulls on Dalal Street. The 50 stock index is trading around 25,950 with gains of just around 20 points. The Sensex index is also trading with caution after early jitters, as the index moves around 84,900 with an uptick of 50 points

As for the Nifty index, 26,000 will be the first hurdle for the Nifty to cross, while 25,950 - 25,850 will remain a key support zone.

The Nifty bank is also trading with meagre gains of around 30 points, as the markets look for support at higher levels.

Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include Nuvoco Vistas, HEG Ltd, Himadri Speciality, Jai Prakash Power, Garden Reach, Data Patterns, along with others.
