The company told the stock exchanges that it received a letter of award from Adani Road Transport Ltd. on a back-to-back basis for the construction of Ganga Path connecting Sultanganj-Bhagalpur-Sabour
Road on an engineering construction and procurement (EPC) mode.
The Bihar State Road Development Corporation Ltd. is the employer of the project.
The construction period of the 41km road is 42 months, the company said. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the project.
Earlier this week, Dilip Buildcon said it was declared the lowest bidder by the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. to set up 1,365.55 MW (AC) grid-connected solar power capacity under the PM KUSUM-C (Feeder Solarisation) scheme.
The project will be implemented via multiple special purpose vehicles and the firm will secure an EPC opportunity of around ₹4,900 crore, which is to be executed over 18 months, the company said.
Dilip Buildcon will handle the development, design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, commissioning and operations and maintenance of the solar plants, it said.
Shares of Dilip Buildcon gained 5.6% to hit an intraday high of ₹491.7 apiece on Friday. The stock was up 3% at ₹479.5 apiece around 2.00 pm. It has gained 5.5% this year, so far.
