Surya Roshni bags ₹105-crore spiral pipe supply order in Gujarat

Lighting firm Surya Roshni Ltd on Monday (November 24) announced that it has secured an order worth ₹105.18 crore (including GST) from an engineering and infrastructure company for the supply of spiral

pipes with external 3 LPE coating.

The order, awarded by a domestic entity, is set to be executed within Gujarat with the delivery date scheduled for March 31, 2026. The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the order does not fall under related party transactions.

Second Quarter Results

Surya Roshni's net profit grew 117% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹74.3 crore from ₹34.2 crore in the same quarter last year. The company reported ₹1,845.2 crore in revenue from operations, up 21% on a YoY basis and 15% over the previous quarter.

Revenue in the same quarter last year stood at ₹1,529 crore, while the June quarter revenue stood at ₹1,605 crore. Festive demand and continued interest in professional lighting drew demand.

Despite pricing pressures in certain categories, the company said the lighting and consumer durable segment recorded a healthy increase in revenue with strong double-digit volume growth in LED lamps, battens, water heaters, and mixer grinders.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 55% from last year to ₹118 crore, while the EBITDA margin improved by 140 basis points to 6.4% from 5% a year earlier.

Shares of Surya Roshni Ltd ended at ₹258.70, up by ₹1.55, or 0.60%, on the BSE today, November 24.
