Its net profit declined 20% to 94 crore in the September quarter from ₹117.5 crore last year.
The company's revenue was down 8.6% at ₹598.2 crore from ₹654.3 crore in the second quarter last year.
Dhanuka Agritech's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation declined 14.4% to ₹136.6 crore from ₹159.6 crore last year.
Its margin contracted as well to 22.84% from 24.39%.
In July, the company had told CNBC-TV18 that it was targeting a 14-15% revenue growth in the financial year 2026, and it was expecting a stronger second quarter supported by a favourable monsoon.
The company's chairman Mahendra Kumar Dhanuka had said the second quarter was crucial as agrochemical consumption typically picked up in the second half of June and peaked during the July to September period, which were the key months for sales in the industry.
Shares of Dhanuka Agritech declined 4.2% to hit an intraday low of ₹1,395.5 apiece post results on Friday. The stock was down 2.5% at ₹1,420.5 apiece around 12.40 pm. It has declined 8% in the past month.
