Shares of Bondada Engineering Ltd. gained nearly 5% on Monday, December 22, after the company said it has won an order worth ₹945.1 crore from NLC India Ltd. The total order value is nearly one-fifth of its overall market capitalisation of over ₹4,000 crore.
The orders are on behalf of NLC India Renewables Ltd.
Bondada Engineering's latest order involves balance of system works to set up 810 mega watt (MW) solar power project at RVUNL Solar Park in Bikaner, Rajasthan under engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) with operations and maintenance (O&M) services for three years.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier's works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, installation, testing and commissioning of total capacity of the ₹810 MW solar power project. It also includes evacuation system up to delivery point .
The contract is to be completed 15 months from the receipt of the letter of award.
With this order, Bondada Engineering said its total EPC orders in hand are now worth 3 giga watt (GW).
The company said the order is expected to be executed within the stipulated timeline and will contribute meaningfully to the firm's revenue growth over the execution period.
Shares of Bondada Engineering were up 4.6% at ₹374 apiece around 12.10 pm on Monday. The stock has declined 38.5% this year, so far.
