Mehli Mistry resigns as director of RNT Associates, cites other commitments

Mehli K. Mistry has resigned as a director of RNT Associates Pvt. Ltd., citing preoccupation with his other commitments, according to a resignation letter dated June 30.

In the letter addressed to the company's board of directors, Mistry said he was stepping down from the position with effect from July 1, 2026.

"Owing to my preoccupation with my other commitments, I hereby submit my resignation from the position of Director of RNT Associates Private Limited, effective i.e. 1st July 2026," the letter said.

He requested the board to take the necessary steps to note his resignation and file the required notification with the Registrar of Companies.

Mistry also wished the board and the company success in carrying forward the objectives "for which the late Mr Ratan Naval Tata promoted the Company."

The resignation letter bears Mistry's digital signature and lists his Director Identification Number (DIN: 00344555).

RNT Associates is one of the investment holding companies within the Tata Group's promoter shareholding structure. The letter does not specify who will replace Mistry on the board or provide any additional reasons for his decision beyond his other commitments.
