Homegrown sneaker brand Gully Labs raises ₹30 cr Series A led by Saama Capital

Homegrown premium sneaker brand Gully Labs on Monday, January 19, announced a ₹30 crore Series A funding round led by Saama Capital, with existing investor Zeropearl VC doubling down through a follow-on investment.

Zeropearl VC had led the company’s seed round in early 2025 and has participated in the latest raise beyond its pro-rata entitlement, reinforcing investor confidence in the brand’s growth momentum.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Gully Labs’ product portfolio, scale its offline retail presence across key Indian markets, and strengthen brand visibility in international markets such as the US and the UK, the company said.

“This round marks an important milestone in our journey,” said Arjun Singh and Animesh Mishra, co-founders of Gully Labs. “Our focus has always been on building a brand that reflects Indian culture while meeting global standards of design and quality. The continued confidence from our investors enables us to strengthen our offline strategy, expand our product range, and build deeper connections with consumers in India and overseas.”

Founded in 2023 by Singh and Mishra, Gully Labs positions itself at the intersection of premium footwear and Indian cultural storytelling, designing sneakers inspired by regional art forms, traditional crafts, and contemporary Indian identity.

The Series A round also saw participation from a clutch of prominent founders and angel investors, including Mokobara founder Sangeet Agrawal, Veeba founder Viraj Bahl, Unacademy co-founders Roman Saini and Gaurav Munjal, Genesis Luxury founder Sanjay Kapoor, and Edelweiss Mutual Fund MD and CEO Radhika Gupta.

Since its seed round in March 2025, the company said it has crossed ₹30 crore in annualised revenue, expanded its offline footprint to five Indian cities, and built early traction in overseas markets such as the US and the UK.

“As we scale, we remain committed to thoughtful growth and long-term brand building,” the founders added.

Gully Labs is now targeting ₹100 crore in annualised revenue by FY 2026–27, betting on physical retail expansion and brand-led growth as demand rises for premium, homegrown consumer brands.
