KNR Constructions Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a ₹319.24-crore project to construct an iconic bridge across Mir Alam Tank in Hyderabad.
The contract, awarded by the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation, involves building the bridge under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode, with a completion timeline of 24 months, according to the company’s filing.
The bridge will connect the Bengaluru National Highway at Shastripuram to Chintalmet, forming part of the broader
initiative to upgrade mobility infrastructure around the Musi riverfront.
The announcement comes against the backdrop of a subdued quarterly performance. KNR Constructions reported a 76.3% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹104.65 crore for Q2 FY26, compared with ₹441.47 crore a year earlier.
Revenue fell 66.8% to ₹646.5 crore, largely due to lower project execution and the absence of a one-time income recorded in the previous year.
EBITDA dropped 77.8% to ₹192.82 crore, with margins softening to 29.83% from 44.73%. The company attributed last year’s strong base to a significant one-off gain from asset monetisation.
Shares of KNR Constructions closed 2.72% lower at ₹162.25 on the NSE.
