Shapoorji Pallonji Group company Afcons Infrastructure has received an arbitration award worth ₹243.52 crore in favour of its Chenab bridge project undertaking, the company informed in a regulatory filing.
The award was issued by an Arbitral Tribunal and formally received on December 11, 2025, in connection with a rail project.
According to the filing, the award is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s financial position.
This comes shortly after Afcons announced fresh order wins earlier
this month. On December 1, the company said it secured contracts worth ₹884 crore in December under its marine and industrial business unit. These engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects were booked across the marine and industrial segments.
Q2 Results
Afcons Infrastructure reported its second-quarter results last month with a decline in quarterly earnings. For Q2 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025), the company posted a 22.5% year-on-year drop in net profit to ₹105 crore, compared with ₹135.4 crore a year earlier.
Revenue edged up 1% to ₹2,988.3 crore from ₹2,959.7 crore.
EBITDA fell 4.6% to ₹328.7 crore, while EBITDA margin slipped to 11% from 11.6% in the same quarter last year.
Shares of Afcons Infrastructure ended lower on Friday, December 12, by 0.37% at ₹398.90 on the NSE.
