The IPO share allotment status is expected to be finalised on December 8, following the closure of the subscription window.
The ₹300.01-crore IPO, which opened for subscription on December 3, was booked 5.45 times by the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). The retail portion was subscribed 29.96 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors’ (NIIs) segment was booked 55.94 times.
The Vidya Wires IPO comprised a fresh issue of 5.26 crore equity shares, amounting to ₹274 crore, and an Offer-For-Sale (OFS) portion of 50 lakh shares, worth ₹26.01 crore. The IPO price band was fixed between ₹48 and ₹52 per share.
Vidya Wires Ltd. has proposed to utilise IPO proceeds for capital expenditure at subsidiary ALCU, debt repayment and general corporate purposes.

Shares of Vidya Wires are expected to be credited to the Demat accounts of successful bidders on Tuesday, December 9. Refunds will also be initiated for the non-allottees on the same day.
The winding and conductivity solutions maker’s shares are scheduled to be listed on the NSE and BSE on Wednesday, December 10.
Vidya Wires is among the largest producers of winding and conductivity products used in critical applications. The company specialises in the production of aluminium and copper wires. It caters to clients across energy generation and transmission, electrical systems, electric motors, clean energy, electric mobility and railways segments.
