Mobility solutions provider Jupiter Wagons Ltd</a> on Wednesday (February 11) reported a net profit of ₹63 crore for the third quarter, down 35.2% from ₹97.3 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue for the quarter declined 13.5% to ₹890 crore, compared with ₹1,029.8 crore in the corresponding period last year.

EBITDA fell 22.1% to ₹115.5 crore, down from ₹148.2 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s EBITDA margin stood at 13% for the quarter, compared with 14.4% in the year-ago period.
Last year, Jupiter Wagons said it had bagged a ₹ 242.41 order from GATX India to manufacture and supply 583 specialised wagons. This contract entails the manufacturing of a combination of BLSS, ACT2, BOXNHL, along with BVCM wagons, purpose-built for the efficient transport of bulk commodities, passenger vehicles (SUVs) and containerised freight, the company said.
