After hitting a new record high mark of 26,340, the Nifty index is moving on an aggressive note, trading above the 26,350 mark.

The Sensex index is also on the rise, with a rise of over 70 points, jumping above 85,800.

The Nifty Bank has maintained its progress right from the beginning of the day's trade, surging over 200 points in the day.

Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include Netweb India, Jubiliant Ingrevia, SJVN, Hindustan Copper, Metropolis Health, Sobha, Solar Industries, and Ramco.

Keep an eye on Coal India ahead of the IPO of its subsidiary and ONGC, due to the Venezuela exposure. The reaction of most asset classes, including oil, to the weekend developments has been largely stable.
