NSE IPO allotment today: Find out how to check your status across BSE, NSE and MUFG Intime

The ₹22,569 crore initial public offering (IPO) of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) ended with the issue subscribed 5.71 times during the three-day bidding period. The shares are scheduled to list on both the BSE and NSE on Thursday, September 24.

The IPO saw a relatively slow start but gained momentum towards the end of the subscription period, led by strong demand from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs). The retail portion was also fully subscribed by the final day.

With the bidding process now complete, investors are awaiting the basis of allotment, which is expected to be finalised today, September 22. Shares are scheduled to be credited to successful investors' demat accounts on September 23, ahead of the listing on September 24.

NSE IPO allotment status: How to check online

Investors can check their NSE IPO allotment status once the basis of allotment is finalised through the websites of the registrar, BSE or NSE.

MUFG Intime India

MUFG Intime India is the registrar to the NSE IPO. Investors can visit the registrar's IPO status page and select NSE from the list of issues.

They can then select the relevant identification option and enter their PAN, application number or demat account details, as applicable. After submitting the required information, the allotment status will be displayed.

BSE

Investors can also check the allotment status through the BSE IPO application status page.

Select "Equity" as the issue type and choose NSE from the list of IPOs. The status can then be checked using the PAN or application number.

NSE

Investors can also use the NSE's IPO Bid Verification module to check their application details. The exchange says the module also provides allotment information as supplied by the registrar to the issue. Investors can search using their PAN or application number.

NSE IPO subscription details

The NSE IPO was subscribed 5.71 times overall, with institutional investors leading the demand. The QIB portion was subscribed 12.68 times, while the non-institutional investor portion was subscribed 6.55 times. The retail portion was subscribed 1.39 times, while the employee portion received 2.40 times subscription.

The IPO is the second-largest in India's history and the biggest public issue of 2026 so far. The price band was fixed at ₹1,700-₹1,785 per equity share.

At the upper end of the price band, NSE is valued at around ₹4.41 lakh crore.

The book-running lead managers to the issue include Kotak Capital, JM Financial, Morgan Stanley India, Citigroup, HSBC Securities, JPMorgan India, SBI Capital, Anand Rathi Advisors, Avendus Capital, Axis Capital, DAM Capital, Equirus Capital, HDFC Bank, ICICI Securities, IDBI Capital, IIFL Capital, Motilal Oswal, Nuvama Wealth, Pantomath Capital and 360 ONE WAM.

The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on September 22, followed by the credit of shares to successful investors' demat accounts on September 23. The NSE shares are scheduled to list on September 24.
