ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) on Wednesday, January 14, reported a sharp rise in its December quarter earnings, with net profit jumping 45.1% year-on-year to ₹917 crore, compared with ₹631.8 crore in the same period last year.
Total income for the quarter rose 35.2% to ₹1,623.5 crore from ₹1,201 crore a year earlier, reflecting strong market-linked performance and steady inflows.
The board of directors approved an interim dividend of ₹14.85 per equity share. The company has fixed
January 21, 2026, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders for the interim dividend payout.
The board also approved the re-appointment of Sankaran Naren as executive director of the company for a further term of two years, from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028, subject to shareholder approval.
Market debut
ICICI Prudential AMC made a strong stock market debut in December, with its shares listing on the BSE and NSE on December 19, 2025, at a premium of over 20% to the issue price. The stock debuted at ₹2,600 on the National Stock Exchange, a 20.09% premium over the upper end of the IPO price band of ₹2,165. The ₹10,603-crore initial public offering was priced in the range of ₹2,061-2,165 per share, amid strong investor bets on sustained domestic mutual fund inflows.
Shares of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company ended higher on Wednesday, January 14, by 2.14% at ₹2,729 on the NSE.
