Shares of Transrail Lighting Ltd. have gained over 1% on Thursday, November 20, after the company announced it has unlocked the market in a new country in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The company said it has bagged new orders worth ₹548 crore from MENA which includes a major International Transmission Line EPC project. It is not clear by when the order will be executed.
Randeep Narang, Managing Director and CEO, said the order marks Transrail's entry into a new country in MENA region.
With this, Transrail's cumulative order inflows for FY26 have increased to ₹4,285 crore. The company indicated that order flows for rest of the financial year remains positive. The company is currently in a L1 position for potential contracts worth ₹2,575 crore.
"This, along with additional orders in the railway and poles and lighting businesses, reflects the growing strength of our diversified capabilities...We
remain focused on selective bidding, disciplined execution, and expanding our footprint across priority geographies,” Narang added.
Based in Mumbai, Transrail Lighting is an engineering, procurement and construction companies with primary focus on power transmission and distribution business.
Transrail Lighting Q2
The company posted strong growthfor the quarter ended September 30, 2025. Net profit rose 65% year-on-year to ₹90.98 crore, up from ₹55.11 crore in the same period last year. Q2 revenue went up by 43.6% year-on-year to ₹1,534 crore.
EBITDA for the quarter increased 33.6% to ₹156.8 crore from ₹117.4 crore a year ago while operating margins narrowed slightly to 10% from 11% due to input cost pressures and project mix.
Shares of Transrail Lighting are trading 1.3% higher on Thursday at ₹640. The stock is down 13% in the last month, thereby trimming its gains for the year so far to 13%.
