BEL wins fresh orders worth ₹776 crore for next-gen defence systems

Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has announced that it has received additional orders worth ₹776 crore since its last disclosure on November 14, 2025, further strengthening its order inflow

for the year.

While BEL has not disclosed the names of the entities placing the orders, the company informed the exchanges that the new contracts include major indigenous systems such as the counter unmanned aerial system (SAKSHAM), software defined radios, anti-drone systems, a range of communication equipment, medical electronics, gun and weapon control systems, security software, avionics, masts, as well as various components, upgrades, spares and support services.

The latest inflow adds to the PSU’s strong momentum in the defence electronics segment, reinforcing its role in supplying critical technologies to the armed forces and allied sectors.

BEL has been steadily building its order pipeline through the year, supported by continued demand for network-centric systems, advanced communication platforms, and next-generation surveillance and combat solutions.

In its Q2 results, BEL posted a net profit of ₹1,286 crore, beating estimates of ₹1,143 crore and marking 18% year-on-year growth. Revenue rose 26% to ₹5,764 crore, while EBITDA increased 22% to ₹1,695.6 crore, with margins at 29.42%, above expectations of 27.7%.

Shares of BEL ended 0.5% higher at ₹389.45 on the NSE today, December 12.
