CDSL Q2 profit falls 14% to ₹140 crore; revenue dips marginally

Shares of Central Depository Services Ltd. (CDSL) will be in focus on Monday, November 3, after the company announced its September quarter results over the weekend.

CDSL reported a 13.6% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit to ₹140.21 crore, compared to ₹162.02 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company's revenue from operations also saw a marginal drop of 1% YoY, coming in at ₹318.89 crore versus ₹322.26 crore in Q2 FY25.

Meanwhile, total expenses rose to ₹157.41 crore from ₹134.41 crore a year ago.

CDSL shares settled 1.47% lower on Friday at ₹1,591. The stock is down 12% so far in 2025.
