Trading resumes on Dalal Street on Friday with multiple factors in support of the Nifty 50 bulls, while some are against them too. Infosys' US-listed shares have gained nearly 7% in the last two sessions, including a 10% jump on Wednesday after its strong results.

The cool-off in crude oil prices overnight is another positive. Adding to that is the potential signing of a Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and India later this month.

On the flip side, the US Dollar Index continues to strengthen. Banks will be a sector to watch as index heavyweights ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank report results on Saturday. That may invite some caution. Reliance Industries, the Nifty 50 heavyweight, also reports after market hours on Friday.

The stock is down nearly 10% from the record high levels it hit on January 5. There will also be reaction results from ICICI Prudential AMC, Angel One, L&T Technology Services and others. For the Nifty, 25,600 on the downside remains a key level, while 25,750 - 25,800 is a resistance band.
