BL Kashyap secures ₹616 crore Chennai commercial project order from Sattva CKC

Construction firm BL Kashyap and Sons Ltd on Monday (December 15) said it has received a work order worth ₹615.69 crore, exclusive of GST, for structural and civil works for a commercial project in Chennai. The company informed that the order has been awarded by Sattva CKC Private Ltd, a domestic entity.

The scope of work involves structural and civil construction for the commercial project titled "Sattva Chennai Knowledge City," located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The execution period for the project is approximately 31 months.

In July this year, BL Kashyap and Sons received a letter of intent (LoI) for the construction of a civil structure in the contract valued at ₹910 crore (excluding GST).

The contract is for the construction of a civil structure for residential towers, including associated non-tower areas, community building, among others, according to a stock exchange filing. BL Kashyap has to complete the order in approximately 36 months.

Shares of B L Kashyap and Sons Ltd ended at ₹53.00, up by ₹2.34, or 4.62%, on the BSE.
