India's retail inflation drops to record low in October
The Indian government released the consumer price index data for the month of October on November 12. The consumer inflation cooled down to 0.25% according to the data published by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. This is the lowest year-on-year inflation of the current CPI series. A CNBC-TV18 poll had also estimated the inflation at 0.25%.
