Purvah Green Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, has acknowledged the receipt and acceptance of a Letter of Award from REMC Limited, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The Letter of Award, dated 23 December 2025, was issued following an open competitive bidding process for setting up grid-connected renewable energy power projects, with or without storage systems.
The project entails the supply of 180 MW of round-the-clock (RTC) power. As per the disclosure, the contract period
will span 25 years from the date of commissioning of the project.
In October, CESC had reported a 20.4% year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter at ₹425 crore, compared with ₹353 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue rose 12% to ₹5,267 crore from ₹4,700 crore, while EBITDA increased 18.4% to ₹1,061 crore from ₹896 crore a year earlier.

Shares of CESC Limited ended marginally lower at ₹168.12 on the NSE on Friday.
