Gujarat Fluorochemicals shares down 4% as Q3 results decline across parameters

Shares of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. declined nearly 4% on Monday after the company reported its third quarter earnings.

Gujarat Fluoro's December quarter results declined across parameters.

Its net profit was down 18.3% at ₹103 crore in the third quarter compared to 126 crore in the previous year.

Its revenue was down 1% at ₹1,136 crore from ₹1,148 crore in the third quarter of the previous year.

Its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined 6.5% to 275 crore from 294 crore in the third quarter last fiscal.

Its margin contracted as well to 24.2% from 25.6% in the year-ago period.

The stock was down 3.4% at ₹3,373 apiece around 2pm on Thursday. It has declined 12.3% in the past year.
