Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:

The Nifty index is surging with major gains. The 50-stock index is trading with gains of over 120 points, as the Nifty hits the 26,000 mark again. The Sensex index is surging over 350 points, marching towards the 85,000 mark.

The Nifty Bank index has outperformed the two marquee indices, as the banking index is up over 400 points. The index is rising towards the 60,000 mark now.

Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include Tata Investment, Elgi Equipments, Lloyd Metals, Natco Pharma, Gravita, and Samman Capital, among others.

47 out of the 50 Nifty 50 stocks are trading in green, with the exception of Bharti Airtel after a large block deal.
