Shares of Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd. gave up all their gains after the company reported its June quarter earnings numbers, falling nearly 8% from the day's highs to an intraday low of ₹732 on Wednesday, July 22.
The specialty chemicals maker reported a 41% surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹106 crore for the quarter ended June, from ₹75 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue from operations rose 25.3% year-on-year to ₹1,300.3 crore from ₹1,038 crore, while Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) increased 40% to ₹199.1 crore from ₹142.2 crore a year earlier. EBITDA margin expanded to 15.3% from 13.7% in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company's Speciality Chemicals business remained the largest contributor with revenue of ₹637 crore during the quarter, followed by Chemical Intermediates at ₹525 crore and Nutrition & Health Solutions at ₹244 crore. In comparison, these business segments had reported topline of ₹xx crore, ₹xx crore, and ₹xx crore respectively.
Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) for these segments stood at ₹109 crore for Speciality Chemicals, ₹44 crore for Chemical Intermediates and ₹28 crore for Nutrition & Health Solutions.
Separately, the Nomination, Remuneration & Compensation Committee approved the grant of 42,298 stock options under the Jubilant Ingrevia Employees Stock Option Scheme 2021.
The grant comprises 34,808 Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and 7,490 Performance Linked Stock Units (PSUs), with an exercise price of Re. 1 per share.
Following the Q1 results announcement, the stock surged about 4% to an intraday high of ₹795, but have given up gains soon after and are now trading 2.2% lower at ₹745.15. The shares have gained about 6% so far in 2026, but have delivered a negative 9% return over the last 12 months.
