Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty 50 index enters the Sensex weekly expiry today on the back of the biggest single-day gain in nearly a year and having crossed the mark of 24,000. That remains the most important level to track on the index for further upmove.

The upmove on Wall Street is largely factored in, and oil prices have now stabilized above the $95 a barrel mark after the mid-week plunge. The US-Iran ceasefire remains the key determinant with fragilities being exposed.

However, the focus today will be on the start of the fourth quarter results season. India's largest IT services company TCS reports results after market hours today, along with stocks like GM Breweries and Anand Rathi Wealth. Commentary from the TCS management will be key not just for the stock, but also for the other IT peers.

The bulls will be hopeful that the Nifty Bank continues its rebound, with 55,000 now the key level on the downside after a 3,000-point rally on Wednesday. Lupin, NHPC, NTPC, Poonawalla Fincorp, are some of the other stocks that should be on your radar today.
