Its cargo volumes increased by 6% to 40.2 million metric tonne (MMT) from the previous year. This was led by its container volumes, which grew by 24%.
The company has handled 284.4 MMT of port cargo in 2025 till October, which is higher by 10% from the previous year, led by container volumes which increased by 21% from the previous fiscal for this six-month period.
Adani Ports' logistics rail volumes increased by 16% to 60,387 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). Its General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme (GPWIS) volume declined 6% to 1.7 MMT.
The logistics rail volume in the first 10 months of 2025 stood at 418,793 TEUs, up 15% from the previous. Its GPWIS volume for the period was at 12.7 MMT, up 1% from last year.
Adani Ports is set to report its earnings for the second quarter on Tuesday, November 4.
Adani Ports shares were little changed in early trade on Monday at 1,451.5 apiece. The stock has gained 19.1% this year, so far.
