Zaggle Prepaid Q3 profit jumps 84% as revenue surges 56%

Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services reported a strong operating performance in the December quarter, driven by robust revenue growth and improved profitability.

The company’s net profit jumped 84.3% year-on-year to ₹36.3 crore in Q3, compared with ₹19.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations surged 56% YoY to ₹525.5 crore, up from ₹336.8 crore, aided by higher transaction volumes and continued traction across its prepaid card and employee benefits segments.

Total income stood

at ₹534.2 crore, while total expenses rose to ₹484.5 crore, reflecting increased costs linked to higher business activity.

The cost of point redemption and gift cards, the company’s largest expense head, came in at ₹282.6 crore, compared with ₹185.8 crore a year ago.

Incentives and cash-back expenses increased to ₹141.7 crore from ₹82.9 crore, in line with higher customer engagement.

Employee benefit expenses were ₹194.4 crore, while finance costs stood at ₹12.8 crore. Depreciation and amortisation expense for the quarter was ₹98.5 crore, and other expenses were reported at ₹296.2 crore.

Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd. is a Mumbai-based fintech SaaS company specialising in business spend management solutions.​ It digitises corporate expenses via an integrated platform covering employee benefits, rewards/incentives (Propel), expense management/reimbursements (Save), payments, and vendor automation.

For the nine months ended December 31, Zaggle reported revenue from operations of ₹1,289.7 crore, up from ₹891.6 crore in the year-ago period, while net profit rose to ₹98.2 crore, compared with ₹56.8 crore a year earlier, reflecting sustained operating leverage and scale benefits.

Its shares ended today’s trade 2.5% up/down at ₹304 on the NSE.
