The sessions of Thursday and Friday could go down as mirror images of each other, especially the final few minutes. While the Nifty reversed from the day's high on Thursday to end flat, it turned the opposite on Friday, marking a sharp reversal from the lows of the day to end above the flat line.

The index has set its sights again on the 26,000 mark, which has been a supply zone recently. With the second quarter results season now ending, the market today will be reacting to the final few results that were reported after market hours on Friday, while looking for new directional cues.

The most important one now is the impending US-India trade deal, which now gains more significance as the Trump administration continues to sign deals with other nations. Focus will also be on the RBI policy in December as to whether the central bank will remain in pause mode due to robust growth or cut rates in a benign inflation scenario.

The Nifty has now gained five days in a row, with 26,000 being the key level on the upside and 25,750 - 25,800 zone remaining a key support. Watch out for stocks like Tata Motors PV, Oil India, Max Healthcare, Adani Enterprises, among other names.
