Bharat Electronics receives fresh orders worth ₹569 crore

Navratna defence public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on Thursday said it has secured additional orders worth ₹569 crore since its last disclosure on December 12, 2025.

The company said the fresh orders span a wide range of defence and non-defence products, including radars, tank overhaul solutions, communication equipment, fire control systems, simulators, antenna stabilisation systems, security software, as well as components, upgrades, spares and related services.

Earlier,

on December 12, BEL had informed stock exchanges that it had received orders worth ₹776 crore. While the company did not disclose the names of the customers, it said the contracts included key indigenous systems such as the counter-unmanned aerial system (SAKSHAM), software-defined radios, anti-drone systems, communication equipment, medical electronics, gun and weapon control systems, avionics, masts, security software, along with support services.

BEL Q2 result

BEL reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,286 crore for the quarter, marking an 18% year-on-year increase and surpassing analysts’ estimates of ₹1,143 crore.

Revenue for the quarter rose 26% year-on-year to ₹5,764 crore, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 22% to ₹1,695.6 crore. EBITDA margins stood at 29.42%, higher than market expectations of around 27.7%.

Shares of BEL ended 1.23% higher at ₹393.55 on the NSE today, December 12.
