Revenue from operations grew 8.4% year-on-year to ₹3,032 crore from ₹2,796.8 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 13.7% year-on-year to ₹38 crore from ₹33.5 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s operating margin stood at 1.3% in Q2 FY26, compared with 1.2% in the same quarter last year.

The company added 11,000 headcounts during the quarter, including 315 net additions in its specialised staffing business. During the first half of FY26, EBITDA grew 25% year-on-year, supported by consistent operating leverage and volume growth. TeamLease also added 140 new client logos in the quarter. Net free cash stood at ₹320 crore, while outstanding TDS receivables were around ₹300 crore.
In the General Staffing segment, headcount grew 3% sequentially, and revenue rose 4% quarter-on-quarter. The company added 37 new clients during the quarter, with more than 65% of them under the variable model. Around 23% of Q2’s net headcount additions came from new-client acquisitions, while 23% of gross associates hired were first-time job seekers.
The Specialised Staffing business reported an 8% sequential increase in gross revenue and 28% year-on-year growth, with organic growth of 17% year-on-year. The segment added 320 net employees during the quarter, including 25 from Singapore.

The Global Capability Centre (GCC) segment remained a key growth driver, contributing over 60% of net revenue. Specialised Staffing now serves more than 90 GCC clients across sectors such as life sciences, telecom, consulting, engineering, BFSI, consumer, and IT.
In the HR Services segment, the company achieved breakeven EBITDA during the quarter, driven by an increase in EdTech billings. TeamLease managed over 3.5 lakh monthly records in its Human Capital Management (HCM) business, with Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) of seven days and funding exposure of 14%, consistent with the prior year.
The Degree Apprenticeship (DA) division added a net 2,600 headcounts during the quarter and secured 19 new client logos. About 31% of the total associates based in the DA business have fully adopted the company’s learning solutions.
On Tuesday (November 4), shares of Teamlease Services Ltd ended at ₹1,682.70, down by ₹19.60, or 1.15%, on the BSE.
