Torrent Pharmaceuticals has received approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench, for the scheme of amalgamation of JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. with the company and their respective shareholders.
In a regulatory filing dated July 6, 2026, Torrent Pharmaceuticals said the scheme of amalgamation has been sanctioned by the NCLT under Sections 230 to 232 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. The tribunal passed its order on July 6, 2026.

The amalgamation relates to JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as the transferor company and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as the transferee company, along with their respective shareholders, as outlined in the sanctioned scheme.
