R R Kabel reported a 128.8% year on year jump in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹205.2 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, from the ₹89.70 crore in June 2025.
Revenue from operations rose 53.9% to ₹3,168.2 crore from ₹2,058.6 crore a year earlier, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 94% to ₹283 crore from ₹142 crore. EBITDA margin expanded 200 basis points to 8.9% from 6.9%.
On a sequential basis, PAT rose 22.2% from ₹167.9 crore in the March quarter, while revenue from operations increased 6.9% from ₹2,964.1 crore.

The company's wires and cables business, which remains its largest segment, continued to drive growth. Segment revenue rose 57% year on year to ₹2,880 crore, while profit before interest and tax (PBIT) increased to ₹285 crore from ₹139 crore. Segment PBIT margin expanded to 9.9% from 7.6%.
The fast-moving electrical goods business also recorded healthy top-line growth, with revenue rising 28% year on year to ₹288 crore. The segment broke even at the operating level, reporting a PBIT of ₹0 crore compared with a loss of ₹7 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The quarter included an exceptional charge of ₹13.8 crore related to the statutory impact of India's new labour codes. R R Kabel said the exceptional charge stems from the implementation of the four labour codes notified by the Government of India.

The company said the impact has been presented as an exceptional item owing to its material, regulatory-driven and non-recurring nature and will continue to assess any additional impact as further clarifications are issued. It also said it is currently unable to quantify the financial impact of the new Extended Producer Responsibility framework for non-ferrous metal scrap because the operational portal and pricing mechanism have not yet been notified by regulators.
Shares of the company ended 3.06% higher at ₹2,570 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
